Project Management
All contracts are run as Projects and are managed by experienced Mechanical or Electrical Project Managers. Works are streamed into Retail, Care Homes and combined M&E projects.
GWD has a specialisation in Retail works and these projects are managed by staff with Retail experience. Project values range from £10k - £1m.
GWD also has a specialisation in Care Home works and these projects are managed by staff with extensive carehome construction experience. Project values range from £10k - £1.5m.
Combined Mechanical & Electrical projects are managed by Project Managers looking after their own disciplines with the senior taking 'lead' contact with the client. Project values range from £200k - £3.5m.
Project Mangers co-ordinate the projects, plan labour and schedule specialist materials throughout the contract period. The Project Managers deal with all financial aspects of the contracts from conception to completion.
Administration
Administration, financial and personnel matters are managed in the Leeds office by the financial and administration teams.
Senior Management
The senior management team is responsible for developing the company strategic plan, setting business objectives and budget, recruitment and retention of staff, developing safety systems, monitoring health & safety issues, maintaining client contacts & developing new relationships, managing all operations within the agreed parameters and corporate governance of all business affairs.
